OurSimons History
Our family’s history, with its sources close by.
OurSimons History brings our family’s records, stories, photographs, and research together in one private archive. It is a place to understand where we came from, follow the evidence, and pass what we learn to the next generation.
Follow the people, places, and evidence
Explore family relationships, look at events across time and place, and open the documents behind a story. Sources stay connected to the claims they support. Conflicting accounts and unanswered questions remain visible instead of being smoothed into a story that sounds more certain than it is.
Through a connected assistant such as ChatGPT, invited members can ask questions in ordinary language, find records, explore relationships, and inspect permitted source documents. The connection is read-only: it cannot change or delete the archive.
Shared with care
The archive is for invited members of the Simon extended family and explicitly authorized researchers. Each person signs in with their own account. Ordinary family access includes reviewed historical records and separately approved documents; living or possibly living people and private research are withheld. Broader research access is granted separately.
A directory listing or connection link does not grant access to family records. Information returned to an assistant becomes part of that conversation. Read our privacy policy before connecting.
A growing record, not a finished answer
A matching name does not establish identity, and a document does not necessarily prove every relationship attached to it. Missing search results may reflect access limits, incomplete research, or a scan without searchable text. We aim to make those distinctions clear.
